Bio:

Rebekah was born and raised in San Antonio.  She has been married for 4 years and has 2 little girls.   She has been a trainer for 2 1/2  years and CrossFitting since 2010.

Rebekah has always been active and had a passion for fitness but started to feel that there was something missing from her routine of running and lifting weights.  “I came to CrossFit looking to add power to my routine, I found that and so much more!  I was amazed to see what I could do if I just pushed myself!”  Rebekah loves that CrossFit gives everyone a chance for success, not just those who have the genes for perfect aesthetics.  “I used to work out just for the purpose of looking like I work out, now I work out to get stronger, faster and more powerful…the aesthetic result is an awesome side benefit but it’s not what drives me.”  She quickly found that the aesthetic results from CrossFit were much better than any other fitness program she had tried so she has since abandoned the long runs and isolation movements for CrossFit.

As a dancer in High School, Rebekah was very competitive and that is her favorite aspect of the CrossFit program.  “Competition drives people, and it’s amazing what happens when you throw that aspect into a room full of people and some weights.” Rebekah believes that CrossFit brings great purpose to fitness and that is what makes it such a successful program.

Rebekah travels almost 30 minutes to come to MCFSA because she believes it is the best box and has the toughest workouts in San Antonio.  The amazing coaching staff, wonderful CrossFit family and great sense of community at Mission are also a huge part of what keeps her coming.
