On Saturday, August 25, Mission CrossFit will be hosting an in-house event where athletes will attempt the CrossFit benchmark workout “Linda.” There will be options for scaling the workout, but also to attempt it prescribed.
Deadlift (1.5x Bodyweight)
Bench Press (1x Bodyweight)
Squat Clean (.75x Bodyweight)
*Weights are listed in order of movements (Deadlift/Bench Press/Squat Clean)
A: Men: 135/95/75 — Women: 85/55/55
B: Men: 155/115/95 — Women: 105/75/65
C: Men: 185/125/105 — Women: 115/85/75
D: Men: 225/135/115 — Women: 135/95/85
E: As Prescribed
Sign-ups will begin at the beginning of August and continue until the day before the event, Friday, August 24. When athletes sign up, you will be signing up for a specific heat time and providing a spotter/judge for yourself. This spotter/judge will spot you on your bench press and count your repetitions. In the following heat, the two athletes will fill flop positions, allowing the second athlete to attempt “Linda” with the first athlete becoming the spotter/judge. You will both need to come 20 minutes early to warm up and prepare yourselves for the event.

No cost for this event. Athletes MUST be current members at Mission CrossFit SA.
Every person who signs up for the challenge will have their name entered into a drawing. We will select 1 male and 1 female randomly out of all the participants to win a $50 gift card.
DJ KickIt will be present on the 1’s and 2’s keeping the beats going.
