This a two-part clinic on the progression and execution of one of the most coveted movements in CrossFit; the Muscle-up. Coach Drew Bignall will be breaking down the movement entirely and showing athletes what needs to be accomplished in order to obtain their first muscle-up. Each participant will have “homework” between Part 1 and Part 2 to be completed before or after class. In order to attend Part 2, you MUST attend Part 1.
If you already have achieved your first muscle-up and want to improve on them, this course would be a great addition to your current skill practice and knowledge.
Limited to 12 Athletes.
Pre-Req: The ability to perform to following:
– 5 Strict Pull-ups
– 5 Strict Ring Dips
Part One: Saturday August 1st – 10:00am – 11:30am
– Breakdown and Movement Progressions
– Muscle-up Approach
– Assign Homework
Part Two: Saturday, August 22nd – 10:00am – 11:30am
– Review of Part 1
– Execution of the Muscle-up
