Hopefully all of you have had the chance to meet Coach Amy Hicks during your time at Mission CrossFit SA. If you haven’t yet, definitely make sure to start coming to Saturday morning classes in March when she transitions to coach that class. Recently Coach Amy has taken a job with the military as her and her family prep to move from San Antonio. She has been a main part of our community since pretty much the beginning. She first walked in the door hesitant to try CrossFit, but soon took to it like many of you have. She immediately took to CrossFit developing a great passion for it. Soon thereafter, she went to get certified to coach and became a staple at the gym as a Head Coach at Mission. She’s been at every event, every night out, built a tremendous following and people love taking class with her. She is high energy, always has a great attitude and truly displays what it means to be a coach at Mission. Amy, this may be your last “regular day” as a coach at Mission, but we love you and whether you’re physically here or not, you’ll always be remembered and looked up to.
