Olympic Lifting Classes and Sunday WOD

Olympic Lifting Classes and Sunday WOD

Melissa and I both attending a USA Weightlifting Certification this weekend and had an amazing time!  We both PR’d on our lifts with just some adjustments and work with one of the best Olympic Lifting coaches in the US, Ursula Garza.  This is something that Melissa and I both personal love to do and want to share it with all of you.  Olympic lifting is a vital part of CrossFit, and when your technique is right with the lifts, the WOD’s become much more fluid.  We are going to be starting up Olympic lifting classes, most likely twice a week to work primarily on all different the lifts, not just Olympic lifts.  This is something, when done right you can do for the rest of your life and have fun doing it every time!  Ask us if you have any questions, but pay attention for when those classes begin.
Since we had no classes this Saturday, we decided to have one today!  It was an awesome class and turned out to be one hell of a workout with a bunch of newbies and other CrossFitters who stopped by!  Let’s keep growing the CrossFit community in San Antonio!

100m Walking Lunges
